December Update

Happy New Year everyone!

So far 2019 has been wonderful!  Hope your new year is going well too :)

December was pretty much a write-off in the stitching department.  I only put in 1525 stitches and the month before I had over 5000.  But I am back on track and so far have stitched every day of 2019!  Go me!  Ha!

I had one new start in December which was a little freebie by Pineberry Lane.  I saved it on my computer and can't find it online so sadly I can't share a link with you :(

And now I have added the word "Yule log"

Crazy Socks by Rosewood Manor was here last month

And now I have a lot more of the border filled in and planning to start the next sock soon.

And now.  Not that much further along.  But better than no progress.

And that is all I stitched in December.  It was such a busy month I am surprised I even managed that much!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Little update here. Been working on Stockings and a small cardinal ornament that I modified from a pattern called Cardinal Ribbon from Better Homes and Gardens " A Cross Stitch Christmas" ©1996

This is one of a few I have planned on stitching this year and into next year. Goal is to have more Cardinals on my Christmas Tree next year.

November Update

Hi guys!!!

December has arrived and I am taking a minute to catch up with it.  It is shocking to me how close Christmas is and I am not near done shopping.  I better get myself together and get organized I guess.

Anyway it will be what it will be.  Now onto my November stitching!

I had a couple new starts in November which were:

October Update

Hey!!!

Happy November!!  And I am actually getting this post done on the 1st!  Imagine that :)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween and got more treats than tricks.  My boys had a lot of fun last night.  One was a scary clown and the other was Batman.  But boy was I pooped when we got home.  A quick hot scrubby shower for me to warm back up and then right to bed.

Last I posted I was playing stitching Dodgeball and not too long after that post I was out.  It was a lot of fun and they are planing to host another game next year on the Semi Sane Stitchers facebook group.  Come join us!  Starting today we are playing Bingo.  The first 10 balls get called tonight then if one of your numbers come up you have to stitch 50 stitches of that color before you can "dab" your card.  Should be fun.

Now onto the stitching!

Last month was a Choose My Wip SAL so I only had 4 wips, one for each week.

Week 1 was Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  Last month she looked like this

And now.  She has hands!  Sort of.

Week 2 was Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs who looked like this last month

And now I have finished the row I was stitching on and have started back at the bottom on the next one.

And now.  I almost have another block finished.  This one is getting real close to being completely finished.

Noel 2013 by Le Chalet Des Perelles looked like this last month

And now it is finished!

And since I finished Noel 2013 I stitched on Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio for the last couple days of October.  Last time you all saw it it looked like this

And now the first side is finished except for the little hearts that go in the corners.

September update

Hello again!

September has been a busy month with the kids heading back to school and 4H starting up again and...

 the Dodge-ball SAL!  I don't think stitching has ever made me so anxious before!  But in a good way :)

I'm not sure if any of you know about the facebook group Semi Sane Stitchers but if you don't you should go check them out.  They are so much fun!!

They were the ones hosting the dodge-ball competition and it was awesome!  So we were divided into teams, then for every so many stitches you earned a ball to throw and if you got hit you had 24 hours to stitch so many stitches to dodge.  The number of stitches kept changing week to week to make it harder.  I figured I would be knocked out right away but I am holding my own!

Now on to the stitching!
