May SAL Update

Hey guys!!

I am back with my May update.  Life update - I lost my job in May, the store closed I was working at but we are on to better and brighter things.  At home we are in the process of planting our garden and waiting for summer to start.  The boys both start soccer Monday night so we are about to get busy with that.  And I attended my guild's annual stitching retreat.  It was so much fun!  Now on to the stitching!

Ethan Elephant by Brooke's Books was here last month.

And part way through the month I finished him!

And then I made the tiniest little start on Ping Panda.

Hannah Lynn was at this point last month.

And now I am almost to the top of this row!

Deepest Love by Mirabilia looked like this last month

And now, still working away on her skin.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate was almost to the halfway point last month

And now I am closer to half way.  Ha!  When this block is finished I will be at the half way point.  I actually do have this block finished now as I am using this for a SAL and will be stitching on this for the whole first week of June so next month this should have quite a bit more stitched on it.

Spring Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin was here last month.

And now I have the fourth block finished.

Friendship Grows by LizzieKate was here last month.

And now I have the border finished but that is it.  Hopefully I will manage to finish it this month.

Kis Betlehem by aMINT was just barely started last month.

And now it is finished!

Crazy Socks by Rosewood Manor was a new start this month and I am pretty happy with the progress I made.

Noel 2013 by Le Chalet Des Perelles was another new start but I didn't get very far on this one at all.

Beatrix Potter Bunnies by LCStitchery came out for a day for a SAL

Kinda hard to see the progress but I did finish off the first column on this page.

Work Horses by unknown also came out for a day for a SAL

I must have really hunkered down that day because I made some good progress!

And finally that is it!  Phew!

I am participating in a "Choose My Wip" SAL where everyone else chooses which wip you work on for the week.  I think it is a month long thing so I should only have 4 progress pics to show you next month.

Hope you all are having a wonderful spring!

Happy stitching!

Khristine
