Stitch From Stash SAL 2018 stitching plans

Hello everyone and thank you for being here with all of us on our new journey. We have a lot of stitching plans for you to follow. So pull up a comfortable chair, grab a cuppa coffee/tea and enjoy our journey with us. :)

My stitching plans for the year include 2/3 SALs by Tempting Tangles Designs.
The first one started last year and I am just now stitching it. All the parts have not been released yet so I am playing catch up. 16 parts total with 10 parts having been released already. You can find all the info for the SALs I am stitching here you can purchase the SALs on her Etsy page found on her blog.

1.  The first SAL that started last year is Springtime Easter Delight. I have stitched the 1st part and working on the 2nd part. These SALs are in my  rotation just on Fridays and Saturdays after work.
2. SAL that started this year is My Own Sweet Home. I have parts 1 & 2 complete. The 3rd part hasn't been released yet. There's 16 parts to this one as well.
3. SAL Has yet to start and is Swans and Shears. Due to be released on Jan. 19th. There's 16 parts to this as well.

Next in my rotation during the week Monday - Thursday is 3 Christmas Stockings. I work on 1 a week.
   1. Winter Wildlife Christmas by Stoney Creek Designs in their Stoney Creek Collection Book 387 Best of Stoney Creek Stockings 1
I have the first band complete. Instead of  using the called for GlissenGloss Colorwash 519 Evergreen thread which is basically a variegated thread I am using DMC Variations 4047.

  2. Celtic Christmas by Rosewood Manor designed by Karen Kluba ©2011.
I have the 1st 2 bands complete and worked on the 3rd band.

 3. Christmas Eve Stocking - Village Stocking Collection No. 1 by Jean Farish Needleworks ©1987. I have not started this one yet but it will be up in my rotation next week beginning  Jan. 15th

The others in rotation are what I call my Sunday Smalls. I will be stitching at least 8 of these for family this year for Christmas.
Snowy Visitors by Foxwood Crossings.  These are small sled ornaments. I will make my own sled ornaments for these.
Thank you again for stopping by and for joining all of us on our journeys as we stitch for our  Stitch From Stash 2018 SAL. You are more than welcome to join at any time just drop me an email  ( under the ABOUT ME on the left) from my other blog here

2018 SAL Plans

Well Happy New Year!

2018 is here and with that comes a new SAL so without further ado here are my plans.

Mothers And Daughters by The Victoria Sampler.  I had hoped to have this done for my mom for Christmas but with starting to back work full time in September that just didn't happen so now I am hoping for a Mother's Day finish.  I am over half done so it is a possibility.

Advent Animals by Brooke's Books.  Once Larry Lion is finished I will only have 6 left.  Surely I can finish them this year.

ABC Christmas by Lizzie Kate.  Going to keep plugging away on this one.  It will get finished when it gets finished.

Hannah Lynn by Hannah Lynn from Heaven and Earth Designs.  Hoping for a page finish this year.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  Another one that will get finished when it gets finished.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  Once again finished when it gets finished.

Beatrix Potter Bunnies by LCStitchery - Would love a page finish.

Cars - by someone on Etsy that seems to have closed up shop.  Would love a page finish on this one.

Pitbulls by FlumpkinsXStitchers - would like a page finish.

Save The Stitches by Blackwork Journey.  I hope to have at least one more block finished by the end of the year.

The Joyful World SAL by The Snowflower Diaries - I have January - March finished.  I would like to finish April this year.

So that is pretty much everything I have on the go except one more full coverage piece which was a freebie I found online years upon years ago.  But I don't seem to have a picture of it.  If I manage to get to it this year I will post a picture then.

Thanks for sticking with me until the end of this LONG post :)

Happy Stitching!
